Its time for another day of Soccer!
The Colton Volunteer Fire Department is pleased to open registration for the 3rd annual Rod Thomas 6 v 6 Soccer Tournament being held on Saturday August 4, 2018 at Swift Field in South Colton, NY.
The Colton Fire Department is once again organizing and sponsoring this event with all proceeds split evenly between the Fire Department and the Rod Thomas Memorial Scholarship Fund.
We will have food, drinks and shirts and other items for sale. There will be a 50/50 raffle, and door prizes for all entrants.
The format is essentially the same as was held last year, a double elimination Tourney with 30 minute games. This year, we have four divisions, High School Boys, High School Girls, and two Open Co-ed divisions, 18-30 and 31 and over. It is our plan to have four 7 team brackets for each division. Also, should anyone want to donate prizes or gift certificates, a donation letter for the donor is included.
We are also looking to obtain dedicated officials for all games. If anyone would like to donate their time please contact us.
