Children from Colton-Pierrepont Central School ventured to the fire station for fire prevention week. The kids were shown the equipment, turnout gear, how to not be afraid of firefighters, and given a tour of the ambulances. Department members were on hand to answer questions and put on demonstrations. Everyone got a fire prevention handout.
